Broken Isles Pathfinder: Part One

Broken Isles Pathfinder: Part One

Good news; we have some hard information about Legion — flying!

Blizzard Watch posted the most complete information that I’ve seen so far. This link also includes Watcher’s post and also the confirmation that it will unlock account wide.

My first impression was gloom. It is a big list. This morning I read Gnomecore’s post on the topic. His post on Flight Requirements in Legion explains a very reasonable take: we’ll be doing all of this stuff anyway!

I have two points to make, the first is from Watcher on opening Part Two.

Watcher (snipped):
I can say that Part One should represent a significant majority of the total effort required to ultimately unlock flight. Patch content will see players adventuring within new parts of the Broken Isles, and there will likely be one or two additional criteria associated with that content.

My first point is: without knowing when that new patch content is coming, I fear my drive will have me pushing way too hard to complete the Part One list! I believe that, having given us the requirements, that it is crucial to get a time frame. Two months vs six months is a big difference.

I will zooooom to level 110 to be able to start the World Quest list and then drudge back through the other zones to complete Loremaster stuffs — that is fine, I suppose.

My second point is: the reward for Part One is a speed boost to our ground mounts. In Draenor, we got a token and also the stablemaster speed boosts. With our guild perk, it was a tiny speed boost. I couldn’t tell that I had a boost!

In all, good news. Keep that information flowing!
