News Break: Watcher
Well, isn’t this interesting.
I was reading Alternative Chat and came across today’s post. It is called History Repeating and not only informs us that Watcher will be doing some live news feed type release but Alternate Chat offers some speculation on the topic; and a bit of cynical humor (most welcome).
Curious, I headed over to MMO Champs for the blue post:

We’ll be going live at 9:00 AM Pacific/12:00 PM Eastern time on the official World of Warcraft Twitch channel at twitch.tv/Warcraft. We’ll see you then!
We all agree that he’ll be defending the Garrison Mission style Class Hall .. uh … garrison missions.
I’m guessing that Alternative Chat has pretty much nailed it. We’ve not heard anything from Blizzard on the World of Warcraft in a long while. Perhaps the announcement of Beta; we’ll see tomorrow!
I don’t really understand the need for a live Twitch presentation. Watcher isn’t a rock star or a politician or a police chief. I can’t imagine why we won’t get a simple ten bullet point list unless Watcher is playing politician and putting some spin on the information.
If we get a hard date on the pre-expansion patch, then it is of value. Otherwise, it is still continually shifting stuff as a game gets designed and built.
I’m new to this: what the hell is an “online gaming personality”?
