Patch 7.1.5 Continues

While everyone is data-mining 7.2 and terrifically excited about the new stuff, the Devs are still working on this current patch.

Easily missed is this post from the forums on MMO Champs.

While none of this applies to me, my heart is heartened that the changes have a small Designer Note. The “why” is much more comforting than the “what”, don’t you think?

These changes will take place next Tuesday which means brave consecutive changes each week and shows us all that the Devs are working on it. I have to admit that I felt that WoW was the lonely kid while all the designers went to work on the new Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone.

Perhaps Blizzard realized that WoW will continue and not simply die away like all old games. Perhaps WoW is a game that needs to be solid and maintained with diligence. Perhaps WoW is the foundation of their entire franchise.
