One More Saturday Night

“Saturday night’s alright for fighting
Get a little action in.”

Bernie Taupin and Elton John

One More Saturday Night

I agree with Gnomecore, we are in a Summer Lull. I think it is by design. I remember last summer, one of our raiders giving us a hard time for raiding at 7pm — while the sun was still out! I do have to agree, raiding is best in a dark room with the sound turned up.

This Saturday night found just a few in our guild on and playing. There was a call for help and the four of us tumbled into Discord to see what is what. It would seem that I am not the only one leveling other classes for the campaign and mount.

What followed was the four of us flipping through our characters and catching up on those pesky dungeon quests and helping on a couple of the more painful quests in Suramar. It was some pleasure to be in a party and thrash the mobs that once made us tread so carefully.

Then, I mean, since we are in a group, let us go see the Dance Party! Bryssa and Alunaria have full in-depth reporting on this holiday. I’ll agree, our team had fun and marveled at the mayhem and celebration.

And it IS Saturday Night, and I mean, since we are all in a group … we headed down to the Sewers for some random PvP. I’d only passed through the Sewers on business so it was new entertainment to me. In my Druid healing spec with The Deceiver’s Grand Design trinket, I felt that I did my part.

We had a Ret Pally, a Warrior and a Feral Druid in our group. One thing I noticed, and maybe because it was Saturday Night, that the players who resented that we were in a group couldn’t spell words very well and wanted to challenge my personal manhood. Thankfully Discord kept us all in tune and rolling with laughter.

One more Saturday Night in Azeroth and still having a lot of fun.

  1. During these slower period in game, it can be so nice to get together and do something out of the ordinary. Haha, keen observation with your “couldnโ€™t spell words very well and wanted to challenge my personal manhood”, that sure made me chuckle ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, and welcome back and thank you! ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. I enjoy those times when there is less people online, it seems that the big races have stopped and everybody is trying to do things out of the ordinary.

It sounds like you had a great saturday evening of fun ๐Ÿ˜‰

I also did something new, I tried to kill the hidden boss of Gnomeregan: Endjineer Omegaplugg. We were a party of 5 strangers from the premade tool and we had our asses handed back to us at least 60 times, before we decided to call it. Fun ๐Ÿ˜€
