Healing Homework: 7.3

Healing Homework: 7.3

The generosity of the WoW community is wonderful. Sometimes it can be hard to hunt down, finding treasure is what it is all about. I am linking two today and both write from the view of a player and I do think that they are playing and not just running pre-patch math strings. And, this is great, their opinions don’t always line up so, in total, you do feel more informed and not more frustrated. It’s great.

Preston Dvorak has updated his Druid Stat Weights and Gearing for 7.3.

This is a lovely piece of writing and addresses the choices that we have with large and small group healing. This covers those differences and they are powerful differences.

I return to his site over and over during a patch and this expansion.

Questionably Epic gives us a brand new complete write up, fresh, on the new patch starting with 7.3 FAQ. The link to the good stuff is in the upper right called Resto Druid Guide (7.3).

A fresh write up in mid-expansion is pretty exceptional and I appreciate it.

My tiny brain exploded when I got to the end of his guide and got to Catweaving! Wowzers!

Personally, I’ve been feeling very locked into my healing set-up. I change a trinket now and then, perhaps if I need to watch my mana. Reading both of these guides can free me up to try new things without fear of screwing my raid team!

Give them a spin, I can spend an hour on each site. Well done and freely given; totally appreciated.

  1. Oh thank you for this, though I’m casual, I really like to know what to keep in mind when healing to get better, thanks 🙂 I still hope for a better tier bonus but I guess time will tell.
