A Little Brains, A Little Talent, A Big Scope

A Little Brains, A Little Talent, A Big Scope

I added a scope to my gun on my Hunter lowbie. Any little thing to help the drudgery of questing back and forth and back and forth in the Wetlands.

Lord Blastington’s Scope of Doom
Item Level 90
Use: Permanently attaches Lord Blastington’s special scope to a ranged weapon, sometimes increasing Agility by 0 for 10 sec when dealing damage with ranged attacks.

Attaching this scope to a ranged weapon causes it to become soulbound. Cannot be applied to items higher than level 600.
Requires Level 85
Max Stack: 5
Sell Price: 2 50

It is a WoD enchant, I think. My engineer made the scope (you can probably find it on the AH), the trick is that my high level character made the heirloom gun too and applied the scope which requires level 85. Then I sent the scoped gun to my low level Alt.

Today my Alt is level 32 and gets a buff of 32 agility when the scope procs.
As you can see, my base agility is 158, so a boost of 32 is quite nice.
I expect this scope to scale with me all the way up the top!

Yesterday’s blog talked about our little guild group collecting the Doomsayer’s Robes.

We also do a weekly run of Kara for the mount. Our group has all gotten the mount and we still meet on Saturday night to carry anyone in the guild who wants the mount and achievement. It is a timed speed run and we over-power the run easily. Our tank knows the pathways and that all makes it fun.

It kind of reminds me of the speed runs in CoS for the Bronze Drake years ago!

Here is a doubtful screenshot.

Our little group also saw that the weekly quest in Nighthold was Elisande’s Secret Chamber. In there is a rare tame of a bird with cool colors. So, we cycled all of our hunters through that to get the bird by taming and then running out and resetting the instance.

Here is another doubtful screenshot.

Our little guild group says that they love these projects. But, we need more.

I’m thinking of going to Dr. Weavil’s island for the Raygun but that drop is so rare that only a few of us should camp it.

We need more ideas! Can you help with a few?

  1. Ooh, what a trick with that scope, that ought to make a difference πŸ™‚

    Aww Bronze Drake runs…The memories.

I actually camped that gun once! But after 25 kills, I had to go to bed. It is indeed a very rare drop. I even “communicated” a little with a Tauren there, he kept crying at every kill. So did I. So we comforted each other, I suppose πŸ˜€

Hm, more projects, good idea. Can I have a look see at your Achievements / character sheet, to see what you are missing? πŸ™‚
